Transportation for schools

Transportation for schools

BODY WORLDS is less than 5 minutes walk from Amsterdam Central Station and is also very accessible by car or coaches.

Amsterdam primary school? Come with the Culture Bus!

The Amsterdam city council offers all Amsterdam primary schools free transport to Amsterdam cultural institutions. Per school, there are rides available based on the number of pupils. The Cultuurbus Amsterdam is completely free for the school; the transport costs are borne by the municipality. The exhibition visit is at the expense of the school.

BODY WORLDS: The Happiness Project is not a ‘kerninstelling’, so please contact Mocca prior to the visit to check whether a visit matches the chosen learning path of the Basic package. This can be done by sending an email to or by calling the Cultuurbus Amsterdam Helpdesk via 020-4212853.

Secondary Education: School tour

In 2015 NS, GVB and CJP introduced a new product: School tour. In this way teachers and pupils from secondary education who are members of the CJP Culture Card travel sustainably and with a substantial discount in off-peak hours with NS. Or in the entire GVB Amsterdam network.

School tour offers two types of tickets. With NS Schooltoer in the off-peak hours € 7 per pupil can be traveled in trains of the NS, NS international, Arriva, Breng, Veolia, Connexxion and Syntus. GVB Schooltoer offers 24-hour access to bus, tram and metro in Amsterdam for € 3.50. Buy your tickets via the CJP webshop
